Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FeedOptix is a poultry feed formulation application operated by QuickERP (referred to here as “we”, “us”, “our”). Our contact address for any privacy enquiry is jameel@quickerp.net.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data we need to run the service:

• Account data — your email address, full name, country, and preferred currency. Provided when you register.
• Authentication data — a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email during sign-in. Optionally, your Google account identifier if you use Google Sign-In.
• Application data — the formulations you create, ingredient libraries, custom specifications, target nutrient values, and similar feed-formulation content that you input. This is stored on your device and synchronized to our servers so you can access it across devices.
• Subscription data — your current plan (Free / Pro) and entitlement status. If you subscribe to Pro, we receive limited billing information from our payment processor (transaction ID, plan, renewal date). We do not store your card or bank details.
• Technical data — your IP address, device model, Android version, app version, and crash diagnostics. We use this to diagnose bugs and improve the app.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, or any biometric data.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the FeedOptix application and its features.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To sync your formulations and libraries across devices when you are signed in.
• To send you OTP codes for sign-in.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance — aggregated technical data only.
• To inform you of significant service changes (e.g. major releases, security incidents). We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.

4. Legal basis

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Brazil’s LGPD, or India’s DPDP Act apply, our legal basis for processing your data is (i) the performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), (ii) our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service, or (iii) your explicit consent (for OTP delivery and optional features).

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share limited data with service providers that help us operate FeedOptix, and only what they need:

• Cloud hosting provider — to store your account and synced application data.
• Email delivery provider — to send OTP codes and transactional messages.
• Payment processor — for Pro subscribers, to process payments. We use Stripe; their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google receives only the fact that you used Sign-In; they do not receive your formulations or any application data.
• Government or law enforcement — only if compelled by a valid legal order in a jurisdiction that applies to us.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics platforms that profile users.

6. Where your data is stored

Your data is processed and stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. Data may be transferred across borders in the normal course of providing the service. Where data leaves your country, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and application data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (see section 8), we delete your application data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. payment receipts for tax compliance — kept for the period required by the applicable jurisdiction).

8. Your rights and how to exercise them

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To delete your account, open the FeedOptix app, go to Settings → Delete account, and follow the prompts. Alternatively, email jameel@quickerp.netwith the subject “Delete my account” — we will action the request within 30 days.

To exercise other rights, email jameel@quickerp.net. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit. Server-side data is stored with access controls and audit logging. We do not store passwords (we use one-time passwords for authentication instead).

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a personal data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by the law that applies to you.

10. Children

FeedOptix is a professional tool for adult users in the feed and livestock industries. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves or as the law requires. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. For material changes, we will notify you by email or via the app.
